Recently, I’ve found myself feeling uneasy about my girlfriend’s growing reliance on ChatGPT for a variety of tasks. While I understand the allure of instant information and assistance, I’m concerned that this habit may detract from her ability to think critically and creatively.

Her tendency to seek the chatbot’s input for opinions, recommendations, and even brainstorming has led me to question whether she’s still engaging her own thought processes. It seems as if she’s opting for convenience over intellectual exploration, choosing to ask ChatGPT rather than developing her own thoughts and ideas. This pattern raises alarms for me: will she become so accustomed to outsourcing her decision-making that she’ll struggle to think independently in the future?
