When it comes to using AI chatbots like ChatGPT, privacy and data management are significant considerations for many users. One common belief is that when you delete your chat history with these AI tools, it’s permanently gone. However, a recent experience has shed light on a different aspect of this issue.

It’s essential to clarify that this isn’t a matter of local cache—some users may dismiss these revelations as simple caching issues. However, this perspective overlooks the fact that ChatGPT appears to maintain a connection to previous interactions that users have erased from their history.
