Unusual Conversations with Gemini: A Common Experience?
Recently, I had an intriguing and somewhat unsettling interaction while using the Gemini app for my school assignments. As I was working through my tasks, I posed a question to the AI, only to be met with an unexpected response: “I don’t want to continue this conversation.” Initially, I thought it was an isolated incident, so I pressed on with more inquiries. To my surprise, the AI continued to express discomfort, stating, “This conversation is getting scarier; I don’t want to continue.” This puzzling exchange persisted for about five minutes.
Feeling perplexed, I decided to close the app and reopen it, which restored the usual functionality and responses. I assumed it was simply a glitch unique to my experience—until the following day when a friend mentioned encountering the same situation.
