However, after a hiatus of about 2-3 months, I decided to revisit the platform to address some issues I was facing that other AI tools, like Gemini, couldn’t resolve.

Initially, I found that the user experience felt somewhat different, with output styles appearing altered. Nonetheless, I continued my interactions and expected the same flexibility I had experienced before. Unfortunately, after just an hour or two of use, I encountered a message indicating I had reached a usage limit, with a reset available only after three hours. This pattern persisted, and today, despite only being on the platform for less than an hour, I was again notified of a five-hour cooldown period.

This experience suggests that the free access model for ChatGPT may now be heavily restricted, making it challenging to conduct meaningful, long-form conversations without interruptions. Notably, my interactions involved only uploading a few images — approximately two or three — which indicates that even with minimal activity, limits are being enforced.

If continuous, unrestricted access is essential for your tasks, exploring such options could prove beneficial.
