Is there a more academic QC subreddit? I don’t really want to see any more hype articles, ‘how do I get into QC?’ question, ‘is this the end of crypto?’ etc. /r/silky died for too many years and no replacements, it seems.

Seeking a More Academic Approach to Quality Control Discussions

As a dedicated participant in the Quality Control (QC) community, I find myself yearning for a forum that prioritizes in-depth academic discussions over sensational articles and beginner inquiries. Unfortunately, many subreddits, such as /r/silky, which once offered a rich source of information, have faded over the years without any suitable alternatives emerging.

The current landscape often gets cluttered with buzzworthy headlines asking questions like “How can I break into QC?” or “Is this the downfall of cryptocurrency?” While these topics might generate engagement, they’re not what I’m looking for. Instead, I am interested in a platform that focuses on rigorous academic discussions and analyses, enabling professionals and enthusiasts alike to delve deeper into the complexities of Quality Control.

Is anyone else feeling this void? If you have suggestions for communities that emphasize scholarly exchanges or avenues for more meaningful discussions in QC, I would love to hear your thoughts!
