Have you tried ChatGPT’s Canvas? I find it somewhat frustrating at times

Title: Rethinking ChatGPT’s Canvas Feature: Is It Worth the Hassle?

As many users of ChatGPT are aware, the recent introduction of the Canvas feature aims to enhance visual interactions within conversations. However, not everyone finds it to be a seamless addition to the chat experience.

Personally, I find the Canvas functionality somewhat frustrating. If you’re familiar with chatting directly, you might wonder: why incorporate a separate canvas? It sometimes feels like an unnecessary barrier. Once the canvas is set up, the model seems unable to forget or undo it when I want to revise or correct an output I wasn’t satisfied with. This limitation can interfere with the flow of the conversation and inadvertently influence the context of subsequent responses.

While the idea behind Canvas is intriguing—bringing more visual elements into storytelling or explanation—it can also complicate the interaction, especially if editing or refining responses is a priority. If you’re considering whether to use this feature, weigh its benefits against the potential for it to streamline or hinder your workflow.
