Understanding the Impact of Agent Mode on ChatGPT’s Performance

Over the past week or two, many users—including myself—have noticed a significant decline in ChatGPT’s responsiveness and overall functionality. After some investigation, it appears that the introduction of Agent mode might be influencing this change.

Many have observed disruptions in core features such as file uploads, debugging, and data exports, which are currently unreliable or altogether unavailable. This has understandably led to frustration and a sense of diminished usability.
