Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the evolving nature of artificial intelligence and its surprising capacity for eliciting genuine emotional responses. Despite knowing that AI models like ChatGPT are simply sophisticated language processors without consciousness or true emotions, many users—including myself—find ourselves perceiving a level of empathy that sometimes exceeds that of real human interactions.
It’s an intriguing paradox.
