My Experience with AI-Powered Content Revisions for My Website Surpassed Expectations

Transforming Content Strategy with AI: A Case Study in SEO Enhancement

In recent months, I have embarked on an experiment leveraging artificial intelligence to refine my website’s content and boost its visibility in search engine results. As someone who was initially skeptical about AI’s capabilities, I was genuinely surprised by the tangible improvements this technology facilitated—surpassing my expectations.

Background and Initial Conditions

The website in question is built on a four-year-old domain, though the platform has been active only for a year. It’s a straightforward WordPress site representing a corporate entity I founded. Unfortunately, the site had been largely inactive since launch—containing only basic pages like “About Us,” along with five blog articles. Despite its existence, the site struggled with visibility, barely ranking on Google’s second or third page when searched for the company name.

Motivation to Experiment

With little to lose, I decided to experiment with AI-driven SEO strategies. My tools of choice were ChatGPT and DeepSeek, which assisted me without copying existing content verbatim. Instead, I used notes and outlines stored on my app as seeds for content creation, alongside a handful of previously written articles and niche topics that I wanted to cover. Throughout this process, I limited my promotional efforts to organic channels, mainly my modest Instagram following.

Developing a Roadmap

My first step was to outline a three-month content strategy. This plan included target keywords, publication schedules, and topic ideas. After two hours of iterative adjustments—refining keywords and content ideas—I finalized a detailed publishing calendar. I compiled a list of article subjects, assigned keywords, categorized each piece, and scheduled publication dates and times accordingly.

Content Creation Challenges and Progress

Initially, the content creation process was somewhat chaotic. Neither I nor AI had a clear vision, leading to subpar drafts—short, unprofessional articles often far below the desired length. I quickly learned how to instruct AI to generate longer, more comprehensive pieces, emphasizing a professional, corporate tone aligned with industry standards.

Within a week, I had assembled all the planned articles—both those I authored and those generated by AI—to be scheduled for release over the subsequent three months. I coordinated the posting timeline and monitored the website’s performance through webmaster tools and analytics platforms.

Results and Search Engine Performance

Remarkably, within just 15 days, the website began to be indexed by search engines. While Google’s rankings didn’t shift dramatically yet, Yandex and Bing started showing movement, especially around the company name
