I’ve been using AI for revising my website’s content, and results are better than I expected.

Harnessing AI for Effective Website Optimization: A Personal Journey

In recent months, I’ve experimented with integrating Artificial Intelligence into my website’s content revision process, and the results have exceeded my initial expectations. As someone who was initially skeptical about AI’s capabilities, I was surprised by how significantly it could contribute to enhancing my online presence.

Background and Initial Setup

To provide some context, my website is a four-year-old domain that has been active for just over a year. It serves as a corporate platform for my business, which I founded. The site was relatively inactive, featuring only a few static pages such as “About Us” and a handful of blog articles—totaling five at most. Due to minimal online visibility, even searching for the company’s name would place us only on the second or third page of search engine results.

Motivated by a desire to improve visibility, I decided to explore simple SEO strategies supplemented by AI tools. I chose ChatGPT and DeepSeek to assist with content creation and optimization. Importantly, I approached this as a testing phase, refraining from social media promotion or paid advertisements, relying solely on organic growth through search engine indexing.

Strategic Planning and Workflow

I developed a three-month roadmap, outlining target keywords, content topics, publishing schedules, and categories. This plan evolved dynamically as I refined my approach, ensuring a clear direction for content development. I organized a detailed content calendar, noting specific topics, keywords to target, categories, and publication dates.

Content Development Challenges and Solutions

Initially, content creation was somewhat chaotic—neither I nor the AI had a clear understanding of the tone or depth required. For example, instructing the AI to generate a 3,000-word article often resulted in a brief, underdeveloped piece with inconsistent professionalism. Over time, I learned how to instruct the AI more effectively, prompting it to produce longer, more polished, and industry-appropriate content with a professional tone.

By the end of the first week, I had assembled a batch of articles aligned with my notes, ready for scheduled publication over the upcoming three months. Managing these publications involved meticulous timing, ensuring a steady flow of fresh content.

Observing Search Engine Performance

Within 15 days, the website began to be indexed by major search engines, although there was little immediate change in Google rankings. Interestingly, Bing and Yandex started showing noticeable movement regarding the company name. After about a month, my site ranked first for the company name on both Bing
