They can be programmed to behave in certain ways, but without an intrinsic sense of accountability, can we truly ensure responsible deployment?

Reflecting on the influence of social media offers a parallel. The ease with which individuals can say damaging or harmful things online—without facing direct consequences—has contributed to a dehumanization of digital interactions. The anonymity and detachment foster environments where accountability is minimal, leading to adverse societal effects.
