Years ago, I voiced doubt and faced extreme opposition; to this day, I cannot identify anyone whose employment has truly been replaced by AI.
The Reality of AI and Its Impact on Employment: Seeking Concrete Evidence
For years, I voiced cautious skepticism regarding the claims about artificial intelligence transforming the workplace. Unfortunately, my concerns were often met with intense opposition and dismissiveness. Despite this, I remain eager to see verifiable proof of AI genuinely causing job displacement.
At this point, I would like to ask the community: Are there any tangible, real-world examples of artificial intelligence directly replacing human roles? Additionally, can anyone point to instances where AI has enhanced operational efficiency to the extent that fewer employees are required? I’m not interested in hypothetical scenarios or future projections—what I seek are concrete, documented cases that demonstrate AI’s tangible impact on employment today.
