Introducing VantaAI: My Journey in Crafting a Local AI with Emotional Intelligence

Drawing inspiration from AI models like ChatGPT, I began the design process with a vision of cultivating an assistant that not only responds to commands but also embodies a more human-like emotional framework. • Custom PySide6 GUI: The user interface is designed with usability in mind, featuring dedicated tabs for managing memory, training, emotional states, and plugin integrations.

Underpinning all this is a custom Vulkan backend, which ensures swift model inference and training capabilities, enabling adaptive personality responses and facilitating live plugin updates.
