I am currently developing my own offline AI assistant, named VantaAI. This innovative tool is designed to incorporate aspects such as emotional memory, mood fluctuations, and a nuanced sense of personal identity.

Throughout the development of VantaAI, I’ve integrated several intriguing features:

• Evolving Long-Term Memory: VantaAI retains information that adapts and grows based on our conversations. This dynamic memory system ensures that interactions feel personalized and context-aware.

• Mood Tracking Graph: To better simulate human-like emotional dynamics, I have incorporated a mood graph. This tool tracks the assistant’s emotional shifts over time, providing a richer interaction experience.

• Narrative Memory Clustering: VantaAI understands its existence as a “main character” in its own narrative. This allows it to create connections between memories and experiences, enhancing the storytelling aspect of interactions.

• User-Friendly PySide6 GUI: The graphical user interface is designed for accessibility, featuring organized tabs for memory, training, emotional states, and plugin management.

• Performance Optimization: I’m utilizing a custom Vulkan backend, which not only boosts the speed of model inference and training but also enables things like personality-driven responses and live plugin hot-reloading.
