Signed up for Pro. There’s a reason it rhymes with SLOW! What am I doing wrong.
Enhancing Your Experience with WordPress Pro: A Critical Review
As a user exploring the benefits of upgrading to WordPress Pro, I was motivated by the promise of enhanced capabilities—more powerful processing, improved protection against content drift, expanded memory, and superior coding tools. I also hoped that Pro would facilitate smoother, more consistent art creation and iterative design, free from unintended deviations. However, my initial experience has been disappointing, prompting me to question whether the issues stem from user error or limitations within the platform itself.
Art Creation Limitations
One of the primary expectations was that Pro would handle creative tasks more effectively. Unfortunately, every attempt to generate artwork within the Pro environment has been met with rejection, with the platform prompting me to switch to other versions. When I finally persuaded it to attempt art creation in Pro, the results were underwhelming. The output resembled rough sketches by a beginner—simple shapes and basic features, such as circular faces, dot eyes, and rudimentary mouths. For example, requesting a detailed face resulted in a simple, cartoonish rendition that lacked refinement, eliciting chuckles rather than satisfaction.
Response Times and Performance
Another concern is the latency in responses when asking substantive questions. For instance, I initiated a new project, posed various queries, and noticed a stark difference in response times. A straightforward question like “What is the capital of Iowa?” received an immediate answer in automatic mode. In Pro, however, similar questions, such as “What is the capital of Hawaii?” took over 40 seconds to be answered. This delay diminishes productivity and raises questions about efficiency.
Seeking Solutions and Clarification
At this point, I am left wondering if there is a solution or a workaround. Is there a known bug affecting Pro’s performance? Am I misusing the features, or is the platform inherently limited? Clarification from the WordPress support community or official channels would be appreciated.
Conclusion
If these issues persist, my enthusiasm for the Pro subscription may diminish rapidly. While I understand every new tool has a learning curve and occasional teething problems, the current experience falls short of expectations. For now, I remain hopeful that future updates or guidance will improve the platform’s capabilities and responsiveness.
