Have you tried ChatGPT’s Canvas feature? I find it a bit quite frustrating at times
Title: Limitations of ChatGPT’s Canvas Feature: A User’s Perspective
As many users explore the capabilities of ChatGPT, the introduction of the Canvas feature has sparked some debate. While designed to enhance interaction, it seems that for some, the Canvas may introduce more complexity than convenience.
From my experience, relying on Canvas can feel somewhat restrictive. Unlike direct chat interactions, Canvas acts as an added layer where responses are stored and visualized separately. This setup can become a hurdle because, once a Canvas is established, the model’s ability to modify or delete previous outputs is limited. If I want to adjust my query or correct an earlier response, the Canvas’s persistence can hinder seamless editing, leading to a cluttered or confusing context.
In essence, if the core chat interface allows for more straightforward, flexible exchanges, the Canvas can feel like an unnecessary barrier. It’s important for users to weigh the benefits of visual organization against potential constraints in conversational fluidity.
