Rethinking AI’s Impact on Employment: Seeking Concrete Evidence

For years, I’ve voiced skepticism about claims that artificial intelligence (AI) will imminently displace large segments of the workforce. Unfortunately, my concerns were often met with hostility or dismissiveness, making open dialogue challenging. Despite the widespread discussions, I find it difficult to identify verified cases where AI has directly led to the permanent loss of a professional’s job.

In this context, I invite professionals, researchers, and industry observers to share genuine examples—clear, demonstrable cases—of AI technology replacing human roles. Additionally, are there instances where AI has enhanced efficiency so significantly that organizations have been able to operate effectively with fewer employees?

This isn’t about speculative future scenarios or optimistic projections. Instead, I’m interested in real-world, tangible examples that illustrate AI’s current impact on employment and operational productivity.

Let’s foster a fact-based conversation that accurately reflects AI’s role in the modern workforce.
