Consider the ongoing mass extinction of animal species—approximately 70% of the loss has been driven by human activities such as habitat destruction, pollution, and overexploitation of resources. Deforestation of our planet’s vital oxygen sources is another consequence of human expansion and industrial activity. Ocean ecosystems, vital for global biodiversity and climate regulation, continue to decline primarily because of human overfishing, pollution, and climate change.
Historically, human beings have been at the center of conflict and upheaval, perpetuating wars, social unrest, and political instability. These issues haven’t been triggered by any artificial entity—they originate from our own nature and choices.
Artificial Intelligence, in itself, does not possess the intent or capacity to destroy humanity. Rather, it is a tool—one capable of extraordinary benefits or massive destruction—depending on how we, as a society, choose to wield it. The real threat lies not in the technology itself but in human tendencies: greed, ignorance, and the inclination toward conflict.

Embracing this perspective shifts responsibility from fearing AI as an autonomous destroyer to recognizing it as a mirror reflecting our own potential for both creation and destruction.
