I’ve been using AI for revising my website’s content, and results are better than I expected.

Unlocking the Potential of AI for SEO and Content Optimization: A Personal Journey

In recent months, I embarked on an experiment to enhance my website’s visibility using Artificial Intelligence tools. As someone initially skeptical about the real benefits of AI in content creation and SEO, I was curious to see whether these modern tools could deliver tangible results. My experience has been surprisingly positive, and I’d like to share the insights gained through this process.

Getting Started with AI-Driven SEO

The website I worked with is a four-year-old domain, although the site itself has only been live for about a year. It’s a straightforward WordPress site representing a corporate entity I founded. Unfortunately, the site remained largely inactive, with only a handful of pages such as “About Us” and a few blog posts—totaling five articles. Even searching for the company name didn’t yield prominent search engine rankings, often placing the site on the second or third page of search results.

Faced with this situation, I decided to experiment with AI-powered tools—specifically ChatGPT and DeepSeek—to implement basic SEO strategies and generate content. I didn’t simply copy and paste articles; instead, I used my notes and existing content as seed ideas, guiding the AI to craft relevant and professional material aligned with my industry standards. Throughout this process, I kept the scope small, relying solely on my Instagram account for any social media promotion—mainly as a testing ground.

Planning and Content Strategy

I began by designing a three-month roadmap outlining publishing targets, keyword priorities, and content topics. Over just a couple of hours, I refined this plan, setting clear deadlines and organizing topics, target keywords, and categories alongside scheduling publication dates.

Initially, content creation was a challenging phase. Neither I nor the AI knew exactly what we wanted, which resulted in some underwhelming outputs—short, unpolished articles lacking professionalism. However, as I learned to communicate more effectively with AI—prompting it to produce longer, more comprehensive articles and guiding its tone to match a business-oriented style—the quality improved significantly. By the end of the first week, I had all the planned articles ready, aligned with my notes and scheduled for publication over the following months.

Monitoring Results and Growing Visibility

Once the content was published, I began tracking performance via Google Search Console and other webmaster tools. Within the first 15 days, the site started to be indexed, with some movements observed on Yandex and Bing. By the one-month mark
