FRUSTRATED beyond belief! Re: Involuntary VEO 3 Generations
Technical Frustration: My Experience with Gemini’s Involuntary Video Generation
As a long-time enthusiast of Google products, I’ve eagerly embraced the company’s innovations, from delving into projects at Google AI Labs to subscribing to various services, including GoogleFi and the Gemini Advanced plan. My excitement for these tools has been palpable, yet I find myself experiencing a significant dilemma that I believe needs to be addressed: the involuntary generation of Veo3 videos by Gemini.
To elaborate, I frequently utilize Gemini for scriptwriting tasks. However, despite providing specific prompts, the model has repeatedly opted to create Veo3 video content instead. This unexpected behavior not only consumes my credits—leading to frustrating deductions from my account—but it also hampers my desire to explore premium features like the Ultra plan, particularly given its cost.
I am not only disappointed by this malfunction but also feel that I deserve a resolution and a refund for the credits lost due to these unauthorized video creations. My attempts to communicate this issue through the feedback feature did not yield any acknowledgment or follow-up from Google, which further exacerbates my frustration.
Additionally, I have stumbled upon similar issues when attempting to create images, and I was recently informed that I had exhausted my “Deep Thinking” access, despite using the Flash model. The inconsistency is perplexing and adds to my overall dissatisfaction.
Am I alone in facing these challenges, or do others share similar experiences with Gemini? Notably, I have not encountered these problems with other AI platforms, such as ChatGPT, which has led me to question the reliability of Gemini.
While I patiently await a solution, I felt it important to share my situation in the hopes that it resonates with others who may be experiencing similar frustrations. Your thoughts and experiences would be invaluable in this discussion!
