Building a Personal AI Assistant: My Journey with VantaAI
As technology continues to evolve, the prospect of having an AI assistant that feels more personal and emotionally aware becomes increasingly intriguing. As an enthusiast in this field, I embarked on a project to create my own local AI assistant, which I have named VantaAI. My vision for VantaAI is to operate entirely offline while incorporating features such as emotional memory, mood fluctuations, and a distinct sense of identity.

The system currently employs a custom Vulkan backend, ensuring rapid model inference and training capabilities. Additionally, VantaAI can deliver responses that align with specific personality traits and supports live plugin hot-reloading for enhanced flexibility.
