Seeking a More Scholarly Approach to Quality Control Discussions
As an avid participant in the quality control (QC) community, I’ve noticed a growing desire for a platform that fosters more serious, academic discussions surrounding this vital field. Lately, many subreddits tend to focus on sensational articles, basic inquiries like “How do I break into QC?” or alarmist topics such as “Is this the end of cryptocurrency?”
I fondly remember the days of /r/silky, a subreddit dedicated to in-depth conversations about quality control practices, which unfortunately seems to have lost its momentum. This decline has left many of us yearning for a space that prioritizes robust analysis and scholarly discourse.
If you’ve come across any subreddits or online forums that cater to a more serious exploration of QC topics, please share! It would be wonderful to create a community where we could engage in meaningful exchanges, away from the noise of hype and superficial discussions. Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
