Robert Oppenheimer’s creation of the atomic bomb was initially intended to defeat the Nazis, yet it ultimately resulted in the devastation of hundreds of thousands of lives in Japan. These examples illustrate a troubling pattern—whenever technology has the potential to harm, it has often been exploited for such purposes.
Today, figures like Elon Musk advocate for integrating AI with human biology through neurotechnology, proposing that we might enhance our capabilities. However, this raises a daunting question: does merging with AI truly position us as the controllers, or could we find ourselves under the dominion of an advanced Artificial Intelligence, akin to how microorganisms function within our bodies?
